Account Manager – Health Policy and Public Affairs

Incisive Health is an award-winning healthcare policy, public affairs and communications consultancy focused on UK, European and International markets. We provide integrated support across the full range of audiences: policymakers, payers, healthcare providers, and patients.

Proudly part of Inizio Evoke, a global health marketing, communications, and transformation platform unlocking growth through data-driven insights and human centricity. We are purpose-built to make Health more human™.

At Incisive Health, we help our clients understand health policy environments and advise them on how they can cut through the noise with their policy and communications strategies. We are creative and dedicated. If you are too, then we can offer you a sector-leading opportunity to grow your skills and expertise.

We are currently looking for an Account Manager to join our UK team.  The successful candidate would manage projects across client accounts from national Westminster-focused campaigning to local NHS engagement, working with colleagues to ensure the delivery of high-quality client work. The broad scope of our clients’ interests means that no two days are the same - from day one you will be hands-on in delivering a wide range of projects, involving anything from organising the launch of a report in Parliament to developing a policy briefing on how artificial intelligence could help the NHS address workforce challenges.

Political and policy intelligence

  • Keeping up to date with all major policy and political developments through news and political feed monitoring; and share them with the wider team
  • Providing rapid alerts to our teams and clients about monitoring items of interest, and coordinating with junior members of the team to do so
  • Ensuring materials used by all your clients to support engagement strategies (such as biographies, talking points and stakeholder maps) are reviewed, are current and of high quality

Written work

  • Ensuring that all work delivered by you, or by teams for which you are responsible, is delivered to a high degree of accuracy

Client service

  • Managing the day-to-day operations of client projects, including – as appropriate – responding to client requests in a timely way, appropriately delegating tasks to junior colleagues and sighting senior members of the team on matters in need of their attention
  • Supporting the organisation and delivery of client workshops, events and roundtables
  • Undertaking research and taking the lead on drafting documents for clients including policy briefings and reports, event materials and media copy
  • Implementing client programmes, working under the direction of the client team lead and with the support of the wider client team. Start to lead on specific elements of client programmes
  • Establishing strong relationships with clients.

New business

  • Undertaking background research and supporting the development of materials to inform new business purposes
  • Proactively participating in new business pitches, by sharing insights from other programmes and contributing additional creative ideas during brainstorms
  • Networking in policy and political fields to develop contacts and capture business intelligence
