About the Role:

The Senior Manager, Digital Strategy leads client engagements by guiding the development and execution of digital and omnichannel strategies across client business and serves as a daily client contact on digital programs. We are open to any applicants that are U.S. based. This role will report to the team based out of our New York City office. As a Senior Digital Manager, you will:

  • Support at least 3 client/project teams
  • Manage assigned projects independently and supervises others
  • Participate in new business efforts, whether growing current business or securing new clients
  • Report to the Senior Vice President, Digital Strategy

You will:

Client Partnership

  • Build solid client relationships through open communications and regular interaction
  • Exhibit understanding of clients' business objectives and overall strategy; showcase ability to marry communications/digital tactics to client's broader strategy
  • Participate in client meetings/calls and lead client updates associated with digital or omnichannel projects
  • Develop and implement sound digital & omnichannel strategies for clients that build lasting connections complementing and enhancing the broader tactical mix for clients across channels, improving healthcare experiences while delivering on client objectives
  • Ensure digital and omnichannel integration, enhancing the client's work
  • Help to foster a data-driven communications mindset across the business – leading channel and content audits, garnering audience and competitor insights, building informed user journeys and personas to inform the creation of compelling content
  • Guide the process to set and maintain measurement and evaluation frameworks, setting KPIs with clients and account team peers for digital or omnichannel communications
  • Translate data and analytics into actionable insights, providing recommendations to improve campaigns or strategies to meet client objectives
  • Develop budgets and SOWs specific to digital or omnichannel projects, managing financials on a monthly basis and flagging pertinent updates to internal finance team and clients when needed
  • Identify research needs and conduct in-depth research to support plans

Business Development & Operations

  • Support preparation for new business opportunities, including assistance with research analysis, presentation development, RFP responses
  • Participate in new business presentations
  • Take on a leadership role in evolving agency digital and omnichannel capabilities
  • Educate agency and client teams on digital and omnichannel strategy and latest advancements and trends
  • Utilize data to support agency recommendations and to guide idea generation

Leadership & Teamwork

  • Display an ongoing willingness to gain knowledge and contribute to the team
  • Display ability to work with multiple teams, adapt to project needs, and different team working styles
  • Provide direct and constructive feedback to junior team members, supporting them in developing fundamental skills
  • Encourage and respond to regular feedback from manager and team members
  • Be a role model for junior team members and is invested in their professional growth



  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, digital, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in health communications (public, private, or non-profit)
  • 5-8 years' experience with 3+ years' experience within a similar digital communications or digital marketing role
  • Excellent understanding of digital and omnichannel marketing concepts and best practices
  • Passionate about digital and omnichannel with understanding of best practices across touchpoints, content and storytelling trends
  • Experience building successful digital, social or omnichannel campaigns
  • Hands-on experience with mobile engagement, web, search or email marketing not required but an advantage
  • Experience with online/social research, content management and analytics platforms
  • Experience with digital data (web, search, social, mobile; quantitative and qualitative), able to guide analytics projects and derive meaningful insights that can inform the strategic approach and yield hyper-targeted,
  • Experience working across omnichannel platforms and building programs supporting corporate, branded and unbranded healthcare and lifestyle initiatives
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Experience contributing to driving current or new business growth
  • Proactively seeks solutions to challenges
  • Knowledge of relevant guidelines and legislation as they pertain to digital marketing (e.g., GDPR) or to health communications (e.g., FDA or ABPI guidelines)

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. This range may differ based on your experience and skill set, geographic location, and cost of living considerations.
