Our Biotech team at Inizio Evoke Comms is an integrated communications agency specializing in biopharma, digital health and genomics/tools providers. Our services include corporate communications, public relations, investor communications, website development, creative services, content creation and distribution, and social media. About the Role:
We are seeking an amazing full-time associate in San Diego to join our team and work with several exciting clients. You will support 6-7 clients (biotech and life sciences companies), each with a versatile communications team led by a member from senior management. You have a knack for project and relationship management, and a passion for working in an innovative industry committed to improving the medicines available to patients worldwide. You will participate in strategy and planning sessions with senior management, shape the stories shared with priority audiences, and identify the channels to distribute the stories through the multitude of press, social media or digital resources available to them. You will be exposed to the many facets of the biotech and life science ecosystem and have the opportunity to flex your skills in the strategic communications process.
This is a hybrid role where you will be reporting into a Director.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Life science or communications interest
- Passion, talent and enthusiasm for oral and written communications
- Must be able to maintain absolute confidentiality of corporate information
- Must be detail- and deadline-oriented
You will:
- Be a self-starter, with initiative and an eagerness to stretch their skills
- Be a voracious consumer of news in order to track industry trends relevant to client and life sciences industry
- Be comfortable communicating with diverse groups of people, including executives, entrepreneurs, investors, and journalists
