The role
As a Senior Account Executive, you will play a central role in delivering client programmes across both our UK and International policy practices. This is a pivotal position within our teams, combining hands-on delivery with increasing responsibility for project management, client interaction and mentoring junior colleagues.
You will work across a diverse portfolio of clients, including pharmaceutical companies, global health organisations, charities and multilateral institutions. Your work may include advising on reforms to the NHS, delivering global advocacy campaigns or coordinating international events at the World Health Assembly – no two days are the same.
You will be expected to take ownership of key pieces of work, ensure high-quality outputs, and contribute to the smooth running of client accounts.
Key responsibilities
Client delivery & account management
- Take ownership of key workstreams within client accounts, ensuring delivery is high quality, on time and aligned with client objectives
- Draft and review a range of client materials, including briefings, reports, stakeholder maps and communications outputs
- Build effective working relationships with clients, supporting day-to-day contact and contributing to a high standard of client service
Policy insight & strategic support
- Monitor and analyse UK and global policy and political developments, identifying implications for clients
- Translate complex policy information into clear, actionable insights and recommendations
- Support the development of policy and public affairs strategies, including messaging and stakeholder engagement plans
Project management & team coordination
- Coordinate project timelines, ensuring tasks are delivered efficiently across the team
- Support the organisation of meetings, events and stakeholder engagement activities
Business development & growth
- Contribute to new business activity, including research, insight generation and proposal drafting
- Identify opportunities for organic account growth and support senior colleagues in developing proposals
Team contribution
- Contribute to internal initiatives, including knowledge sharing, DEI and wellbeing activities
- Continue to build expertise in a specific area of health policy or public affairs
- Take ownership of your development, seeking feedback and learning opportunities
About you
You will bring:
- Experience in healthcare policy, public affairs or communications, ideally within an agency, consultancy or relevant organisation
- Experience working across UK and/or international policy environments
- Strong research, analytical and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex issues clearly
- Good project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Confidence in working with colleagues and contributing to client interactions
- A proactive and collaborative approach, with strong attention to detail
